Dr. James (Jim) Christiansen is the Deputy Campaign Director for Capitol Voice, he also works on energy issues with an emphasis on the impact of government regulation on the adoption of sustainable energy solutions.
James (Jim) Christiansen is a management consultant. He began his career at the Boston Consulting Group 1983-85) and has also worked at Bain (1987-89) and McKinsey (2000-02). While at McKinsey, he served as an expert in innovation and technology management. From 1998 through 2000, Jim worked for Renaissance Solutions, the company which pioneered the development of strategy execution methods built around tools such as Strategy Maps and Balanced Scorecard.
In 2004, James Christiansen joined the Balanced Scorecard Collaborative (later renamed Palladium), a successor company to Renaissance Solutions. He left in 2008 to devote more time to other activities, including Capitol Voice. James Christiansen currently works as an independent consultant.
James Christiansen’s management consulting activities have taken him all over the world. Based for many years in Europe, he has worked on the ground in 35+ countries, primarily in Europe, the Middle East and North America.
Dr. Christiansen is the author of two books, Competitive Innovation Management and Building the Innovative Organisation. He holds an MBA from the University of Chicago and a PhD from INSEAD.
