Special Assistant to the President of the industry trade group consisting of all domestic automobile manufacturers. Responsible for passage of safety belt laws in 40 states; implementation of post-law public relations campaigns; and all media relations.
Also, served as the designated liaison to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT) in Washington, DC. (Traffic Safety Now, Inc. closed in 1991).

Responsibilities included all press relations for the continental 48 United States, Canada, and 2 Latin American countries. This was the first election for Italian Americans living abroad (United States) to provide them parliamentary representation in their homeland.
